Despite the fact the Albion had a few regulars out of action for this cup game the mood was still positive before the game and the whole team was determined to get a result unfortunately that didn’t happen, the Albion lost 2 nil, the first goal coming in the first half from a floated in free kick which one of the Clocktower players knocked down and another one smacked in (I think) and the second was a deflected goal off our very own Brian McCann, some may call it an own goal but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and call it a deflection as he was charging the player to block the shot. The Albion players' heads never dropped and made a real fight of it and had a string of corners right up till the last minute but just couldn’t get that goal we needed to push on. All in all considering this Albion team had never played together before they did really well and never really looked like buckling under the pressure from Clocktower we just lacked that cutting edge on this night. Well played Anthony on his first game and well played everyone else.
