Well in my last entry, I mentioned that Albion Reds had a big game against FC Mutant in the league and with pre-season defeats to this team also James Rogers wanting to settle a score with an old school chum, it had all the makings of a lively game. The fixture needed a strong ref and we got one. Shame Keith Hackett was not there to take note, some of his refs in the Premier League would of bottled it under the stick this ref got from the FC Mutant team and at times from the Albion lads (I think this was due to the constant moaning from the other team), if he was not strong the game would have been a farce, also our goal was a bit contentious , from a goalkeeping point of view and only from what I can remember of it, that the keeper lead with only one arm when trying to smother the ball leaving Rob to put in a challenge that was deemed fair by the ref.

Less said about the goal we conceded the better, just need to talk better as a team out on the pitch but if any of the Albion Reds lads are reading this, although we didn’t start the game well, we battled on and at times we were not pretty to watch; we're going to have games where we have to hang on and grind out a result, so be it if it's a draw or a win. So from that point of view, credit to the Albion team.
